Cable Strain Relief

By Dennis Gaskill, KCØIFQ

I found an interesting way to make a strain relief.

Use the spring from a #16 ? wire nut.

Clip off the narrow end. Bend out the first loop on the big end, which fits under the screw nicely.

The second photo shows the strain relief installed on the underside of a keyer paddle.
